Arconia take on another new Apprentice.

Arconia Engineering Ltd have taken on another new apprentice as the company grows from strength to strength. Sean Gosling (Left) has been employed to be trained as a CNC Machinist in our ever growing machine shop. James Fenwick (middle) was employed to train as a fabricator welder who is now in his second year of his apprenticeship. Darren Spencer (right) is our longest serving apprentice now going into his third year also as a CNC Machinist. Their ‘on-the-job’ training is supplemented by a day realease at college.

Significantly, each apprentice is being trained to have a flexible approach to their work duties. By rotating the value streams in which they work, each will be equipped to take on different operations as demand dictates.

It is also hoped that they will continue to progress their careers with Arconia and follow in the footsteps of many former apprentices who are still employed by Arconia.

The company has seen it as an ideal opportunity to plan ahead and make sure that they have the right skills in place for the future.
